Policy Overview

Unimerce Marketplace is a venue that connects buyers and independent vendors. Each vendor may set their own return and refund policy, which will be displayed on the product page or vendor store page. By purchasing a product, you agree to the vendor’s policy as well as Unimerce’s marketplace guidelines outlined below.

Where vendors do not specify a return/refund policy, Unimerce recommends a 30-day return window for domestic purchases and a 45-day window for international purchases, similar to leading marketplaces.

Vendors on Unimerce strive to provide excellent service. From browsing to delivery, our goal is that you are fully satisfied with your experience. Unimerce’s support team is available for general guidance, but all product-specific returns and refunds are handled directly by vendors.

Refund Policy

  • Vendor-Issued Refunds: Refunds are issued directly by vendors. Most vendors follow a 30-day money-back guarantee for eligible items.
  • Non-Refundable Marketplace Fees: All Unimerce transaction and service fees are non-refundable.
  • Collectibles & Antiques: Sales of collectibles, antiques, and other one-of-a-kind items are final unless the vendor states otherwise.
  • Refund Method: Refunds are processed back to the original payment method whenever possible (credit card, PayPal, Klarna, etc.).

Return Policy

  • Buyers have 30 days for US orders and 45 days for international orders, unless otherwise stated by the vendor.
  • A Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA #) may be required. RMA numbers typically expire after 15 days.
  • Vendors may charge a restocking fee, usually between 10%–20%, depending on the item.
  • Returns must include all original packaging, manuals, UPC/barcodes, accessories, and components.
  • Vendors may decline a return if the product does not meet these requirements.

Non-Returnable Items

The following categories are typically not returnable unless defective on arrival:

  • Collectibles, antiques, and limited-edition art pieces
  • Digital goods, downloadable software, or gift cards
  • Personal care items (cosmetics, fragrances, health products)
  • Customized, personalized, or made-to-order products
  • Items marked as “final sale” on the product page

Condition of Returned Items

  • Items must be returned in new, unused condition, unless defective or damaged on arrival.
  • Original packaging, tags, and labels must be intact.
  • Products showing signs of excessive use, alteration, or damage may be refused by the vendor.

Return Shipping Costs

  • If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, vendors are expected to cover return shipping.
  • If returning for personal reasons (e.g., buyer’s remorse, wrong size), the buyer may be responsible for shipping costs.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the vendor.

Special Policy for Resellers

Unimerce allows qualified users to resell products. In these cases, funds may be held securely until both buyer and seller confirm satisfaction:

  • Funds may be held up to 90 days for transactions under $5,000 and 180 days for higher-value transactions.
  • Holds may be expedited if the end-buyer signs off that the transaction is final.
  • Reseller sales follow the same 30-day/45-day return window as vendor sales.

General

Because Unimerce is a marketplace, returns and refunds are managed by individual vendors. Buyers are encouraged to review each vendor’s policy before purchase.

Unimerce LLC may update this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Continued use of our marketplace after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
