Overview
UNIMERCE collects information needed to operate a curated high-value marketplace, including account details, contact information, role applications, order records, shipping details, payment references, verification records, support requests, and site activity needed for security.
How information is used
Information is used to create and protect accounts, review role applications, process marketplace transactions, support buyers and sellers, detect fraud, meet tax and compliance obligations, improve marketplace operations, and communicate important account or order updates.
Sharing
UNIMERCE shares information only when needed for marketplace operations, including merchants involved in an order, payment and shipping providers, service providers under contract, administrators performing support or compliance work, and authorities when required by law.
Choices and access
Account holders may request updates to account information, contact support about privacy questions, and manage communication preferences where available. Some records must be retained for security, tax, dispute, fraud-prevention, and legal reasons.
Contact
Questions may be sent through the UNIMERCE Help Center or Contact page.
Account security codes, mobile numbers, and Twilio Verify
UNIMERCE may use your verified email address and, only after you give express consent and complete mobile verification, your mobile phone number to send one-time account security verification codes. Mobile verification codes may be delivered by text message through Twilio Verify. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on sign-in and security activity.
For existing accounts that have not provided mobile consent, UNIMERCE uses email security-code verification first. A mobile number already stored for account contact, shipping, order support, or identity review is not used for SMS verification until the member gives security-code consent and completes mobile verification.
UNIMERCE records consent evidence for security-code messaging, including the consent time, consent text, mobile number, IP address, browser information, and verification status. This information is used to protect the account, prove consent if required by a messaging provider, and support fraud-prevention review.
Text-message account security codes
UNIMERCE may use your verified email address and, only after you give express consent and complete mobile verification, your mobile phone number to send one-time account security verification codes by text message through Twilio Verify. Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on sign-in and security activity.
Existing accounts without verified mobile consent use email security-code verification first. UNIMERCE does not send text-message security codes to an existing account until the member enters a mobile number, accepts the text-message security-code consent statement, and completes the text-message verification code.
UNIMERCE records consent evidence for security-code messaging, including the consent time, consent text, mobile number, IP address, browser information, and verification status. Security-code text messages are not marketing messages.
